About Farah Samarrai, LPCC

My name is Farah Samarrai and I am a bilingual English and Spanish mental health therapist with experience working with adults, children, and couples from all different backgrounds. I enjoy working collaboratively with my clients to help them move towards their goals and believe that a therapeutic relationship is a dependable tool for growth. I use various evidence-based interventions tailored to the unique needs of each individual, ranging from helping to process trauma to assisting with adjusting to new life situations. My clients will always feel heard and supported in their journey to a happier and healthier life.

As a California native with a multicultural background, I understand that everyone has their own unique history and experiences, and I make it a point to hear your story.

I grew up in Southern California and attended USC where I majored in business and marketing. I noticed that I was learning a lot about psychology (which I loved!), but it was more for the purpose of selling a business. I decided I wanted to learn more about human nature, but in a way to help others, so I pivoted directions and attended the University of North Carolina, Charlotte to obtain my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I eventually made my way back to Southern California where I worked in various therapeutic settings before making the jump to start my own private practice and provide counseling to help others in the best way I can.

I may be the right therapist for you if:

  • You’re navigating a new life stage and are unsure how to adjust
